The Ascended Heroes set brings back the “Mega Evolution” mechanic and focuses heavily on Team Rocket and Gym Leader themes. Because of this, the Poké Balls in this set often feature unique “Team Rocket” branding or specialized effects for the new mechanics.

Reverse Holo Patterns

In this set, the Reverse Holo cards feature a special foil pattern stamped with various symbols. There are two main confirmed “Ball” style patterns:

• Poké Ball Pattern: A standard reverse holo with faint Poké Balls in the background.
• Team Rocket Pattern: A special reverse holo featuring the “R” logo and sometimes “Great Ball” or “Ultra Ball” motifs depending on the rarity.
